Auto Repair in Portland

Had my car in for some routine service, and then later for a repair. The guys at Botta are awesome. They know their stuff, provide good value, and communicate better than any place I've used before.

These guys did an amazing job and my car has never looked better!

I already like these guys. Sent my VW Beetle in and they didn't just take care of it, they babysat it. They fed it, bathed it, cared for it. I'm telling all my family to go here. Thanksgiving dinner? Go to Botta. Trick or Treaters? Here's some candy, go to Botta. My girlfriend said it had to be her or Botta but she didn't fix my wonderful Beetle. These guys have a reputation for working on high end cars but don't be afraid to bring your old dusty down, they'll care for it just the same. 10/10

This place seems to have a reputation for handling high-end European imports, but I've been very pleased with their service on my old, very not-high-end Volkswagen Golf. They are quick and seem honest about what needs to be done and what doesn't - I got a recommendation for a brake pads change and they inspected and said it wasn't needed. Another time I got an outrageous quote for replacing my throttle body assembly and their quote was very reasonable, they explained to me why the quote was cheaper, and took only half a day to replace it after I dropped the car off.

I had such a great experience here! I had been using the service center at the dealership that sells my car make, and in the past year I was having an impossible time getting calls back for my attempts to schedule service, AND they couldn't figure out the source of my check engine light. Botta was able to figure out what was going on with the check engine light (and it was kind of a major issue! Kinda important to diagnose and repair!) and they fixed my AC, thank god. They arranged for a Lyft for transportation for me, communication was excellent the entire time, they washed my car, and they generally made me feel valued as a customer, a neighbor, and a motorist. Highly recommended!
